Main Demonstration Field with incredible kite ballets - Performances running continuously Saturday and Sunday
World's Largest Outdoor Kite Store - See the best in new kite flying gear in our huge on-the-beach kite store. All the latest 2010 kites will be available for you to see and there will be many that you can test fly. There will also be a fantastic selection of windsocks and toys being presented by our seriously fun staff. Open Friday at 1pm through the close of the event on Sunday.
Inflatable Obstacle Course - Tons of fun for all the kids. Let them run out some of their energy prior to heading home. Open Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 11-4. Proceeds benefit Love, INC.
Manufacturers' Test Fields - Test fly the latest and greatest from some of the best names in kiting, including Prism and Revolution; also be sure to stop by the power kiting field sponsored by HQ kites.
Giant Kites - Kites as big as school buses – yes you read right – school buses. We will have anywhere from 3-6 kites that are 90 feet long and 40 wide depending on the wind conditions. Kites fly all day Saturday and Sunday.
Indoor Fly - Head to White Pines Middle School Friday night from 7:00pm - 8:30pm to watch as some of the best performers compete for your applause in the Indoor Fly. Yes, that's right, indoor kite flying! Map
Power Kite Flying Field - We will have power kites available for those of you who want to give it a try. The field will be open Friday afternoon and all day Saturday and Sunday. Sponsored by HQ kites.
Kiteboarding Demonstrations – If the wind is blowing strong enough we will have a few local riders out on the water. Check out our complete kiteboarding school and shop at www.mackiteboarding.com.
Stand Up Paddle Surfing – Ever wonder what it feels like to walk on water? Check out the hottest water sport around. We will have 4 boards available for you to ride. We highly recommend that you have a wetsuit and booties since you will be paddling on Lake Michigan and it is still quite cold in May. Boards available if the weather permits.
Night Fly - Come back out Saturday night to watch us light up the sky as illuminated kites dance through the air.
Open Flying Field - An open area where everyone has the ability to help us decorate the sky with their own kites.
